WTTC Members & VIP Dinner

Lux Events was engaged by Tourism WA to design and deliver the WTTC Members & VIP Dinner as part of the World Travel & Tourism Global Summit 2024.

The brief was to produce a low-fi dinner event that showcased the beauty of Western Australia - a place for the VIP delegation to unwind after the first day of Summit commitments.

Inspired by WTTC's brand colours, patterns and the iconic Western Australian imagery used in their communications, Lux Events selected a suite of hues and textures that informed the event design.

The venue, Sandalford's Estate Room, boasted impressive floor-to-ceiling natural timber walls, dressed with beautiful heritage assets, so the space required minimal technical intervention. As such, focus was placed on ambient lighting, unique tablescape styling and a beautiful stage backdrop adorned with seasonal blooms.

Delegates arrived to the Estate Room lawn and deck for a cocktail-style Welcome Reception under the stars. Conversation and networking flowed while they enjoyed cold Champagne and canapes to the sounds of a live classical quintet. Moving inside, an inspiring Welcome to Country performance by Maatakitj took place before guests were addressed by dignitaries. Sandalford chefs prepared a delicious three-course dinner, each course served with premium wines produced by the Estate.

Lux Events also provided production and technical management for the special WTTC Executive Committee (ExComm) meeting, which preceded the VIP Dinner in Sandalford Estate's beautiful Oak Room.
