SJOG Murdoch Doctors’ Dinner

For the ninth consecutive year, Lux Events partnered with St John of God Hospital, Murdoch, to deliver their annual Doctors’ Dinner – this year, a decadent Gatsby Gala!

The client’s brief was clear: to create a glamorous, immersive evening that celebrated the sophistication of the 1920s while honouring the hospital's esteemed doctors. The event needed to captivate, entertain and offer a polished guest experience that would leave a lasting impression.

Lux Events brought this vision to life with full-service event management, encompassing everything from venue liaison to detailed budget management and supplier coordination.

Held in a grand ballroom setting, the space was completely transformed to reflect the opulence of the Roaring Twenties. Phenomenon supplied themed styling elements, while our in-house technical design and lighting team elevated the ambience with dynamic lighting design and an LED feature.

Alexander Circosta, the charismatic MC, guided the evening with elegance and charm, setting the tone for an experience that was both engaging and sophisticated. Entertainment was curated in collaboration with Williams Creative and Carmelo Entertainment, featuring a live pianist, jazz band, dance performances, acrobatics and vocalists.

Lux managed all aspects of audio-visual production, ensuring crystal-clear sound, seamless multimedia presentations, and cinematic video content creation that highlighted key achievements and moments from the hospital’s year. Bespoke graphic design added another layer of polish.

From logistics to design and entertainment, every detail was executed with precision and creativity. The result was a cohesive, high-impact gala!
