Prudential Insurance Incentive Celebration Night

Working closely with the Asia Pacific division of global engagement marketing agency, MCI, Lux Events designed and delivered a series of spectacular event experiences as part of a broader incentive program showcasing Perth and Western Australia.

The primary deliverable was a celebration gala of epic proportions to celebrate the achievements of 1200 of the top performing agents from MCI’s Singapore-based client. In addition to recognising its top people and explosive entertainment, a large part of the event was an interactive game show section, where guests played to win amazing prizes. This required a unique production design that enabled all guests to be included from every corner of the room.

With the theme ‘Embrace the WOW’ specified, Lux Events deployed its massive inventory of premium LED screen, state-of-the-art lighting fixtures, audio and projectors to transform the vast exhibition space into a concert-ready arena.

In addition to the expansive main stage, a central stage was deployed ‘in-the-round’ to bring the action deeper into the room. A four-sided LED cube was flown above the central stage to create a scoreboard style aerial feature. The two stages were linked by a giant runway style dance floor.

The iconic Aurora Australis, which appeared in on-screen visuals throughout the night, was realised in 3D with the installation of aerial fringing on wave truss and creative lighting.

Curated performances ranged from a fire-whip cracker, nightclub dancers and a mega DJ set, through to a fully choreographed opening sequence. An impressive reveal was required for the number one top performing agent, who was being celebrated at the event. Lux devised a theatrical entrance using mechanical LED doors that seamlessly integrated into the main LED stage wall. These opened on cue at the crescendo of the dance performance to rapturous applause. Intense back lighting, haze and precision pyrotechnics added to the drama of this very special moment.

For guest arrivals into the room at the beginning of the night, Lux installed an immersive walkway featuring iconic Australian scenography, which was projected onto a series of large, suspended scrims. Positioned to create a simple maze-like effect, guests weaved their way through the installations into the main room. A quintessential Australian soundscape was integrated to complement the projected visuals, which created an impactful beginning to the start of the night.

Lux Events also produced and managed simultaneous Welcome Reception events at hotels Crown Perth and the Pan Pacific, as guests checked in for their stay.
